Kana Quest is an educational puzzle game that aims to teach players how to read Japanese Hiragana
I joined the project as lead programmer after the game's initial Steam release, my role involved preparing the game for release on Nintendo Switch by implementing controller support, overhauling major systems, and providing a range of stability fixes as well as quality of life (QoL) and accessibility improvements.
My notable contributions include:Throughout the development process, I collaborated closely with Whitethorn Games' Quality Assurance, Porting, and Accessibility Teams, ensuring a smooth, accessible and mostly bug-free experience for players on both PCs and consoles.
